The yearly Dota 2 spectacle in Europe.

During the corona time, the idea of playing Dota 2 together in one room, when measures allowed, came up. What started as an event for our own Discord community has now become an event for every Dota 2 enthusiast! Since 2021, we have organised the DireLAN every year. By now, 40-50 people are visiting from all over Europe.

Tournament

Every year, we organize the grand Mix Tournament. In this tournament, all participants who are willing to join will be randomly placed into balanced teams. After that, several games will be played. The winning team of the tournament will win a prize!

Pubquiz

There is nothing better than a fun pubquiz about your favorite game. Therefore, one evening, we’re hosting a Dota 2 pubquiz to test your knowledge. There will be all sorts of questions about our favorite game, and occasionally, some (personal) surprises will pop up as well...

Special guests

As a surprise, we try to invite well-known and fun Dota 2 guests. Around this, there will be space for a (short) meet-and-greet, a Q&A session, and sometimes even a masterclass. Some of the guests we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming include: Sheever, BSJ, Tsunami, Kips, and ODPixel.

Location

Every year, we organize the DireLAN at the heart of Dynamo. Thanks to Dynamo Esports, we have the opportunity to rent the esports space, along with additional rooms for accommodation. Since the Dynamo building also has concert halls, we have a fantastic venue for our Pub Quiz!

The building is about a 10-minute walk from Eindhoven's central station and has a (paid) parking garage right at the door.
